We were extremely excited to hold our 10th annual breakfast conference for AGR Dynamics customers at the Grand Hotel in Reykjavík last Tuesday. The event went off without a hitch, with a turnout of almost 200 people, five different presentations, and a great array of breakfast foods.
Haukur Hannesson, Managing Director, opened the conference and introduced the new AGR Dynamics name to everyone. He discussed where we’ve been as a company, as well as where we’re going and how our team has grown. Following Haukur, Keith Dunn, a consultant based in our London office, gave his presentation on predicting the unpredictable and how to plan for success with a store full of new items that don’t have a full forecast history. As Keith hasn’t fully mastered the Icelandic language (yet), he gave his speech in English and added some pep to the early morning crowd.
Finnur Bragason, Sales and Marketing Director, took the stage after Keith with a look at the new features within the AGR 5 system and how to connect the marketing and sales department with the AGR solution. His presentation featured a hands-on look at the system and walked through different techniques with the audience. Hálfdán Gunnarsson, Managing Director, Parlogis, followed Finnur and held a presentation on best practices within the supply chain.
Wrapping up the conference, Guðjón Þór Mathiesen, Sales and Marketing Director Iceland, answered why adding NAV services to their current AGR services is the perfect combination for customers. As he said it, “Not only are we a big enough company to take on big and difficult projects, but we are also small enough to offer personalised service, where no company will get lost between the cracks.”
We are very thankful to our customers who took the time to come out to this breakfast conference and listen to all that we had to say. We would not be here without them, and we look forward to many more years of delicious breakfast conferences.
