This seems to have been the biggest year yet for Retail’s Big Show. NRF 2018 had approximately 35,000 visitors from over 95 countries and over 2,000 technology exhibitors. AGR Dynamics was well represented by our Group Sales Director, our UK Sales Director and our North American Director of Presales. Our time there was filled with discussions with leading industry consultants as well as retailers and wholesalers on how we can help them perform better by replacing outdated planning technology. It was apparent in discussions with attendees (both retailers and technology exhibitors), that retailers and their employees are looking to emulate technology companies in their journey to provide the end customer with an exceptional customer experience. Retail employees now demand information on an almost instantaneous level in order to react and be proactive to situations. AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology is needed in every aspect of the retailer’s day to day business processes especially in planning and inventory management, something that AGR Dynamics continues to incorporate into their Planning and Inventory Optimization solution. Maximizing employee’s productivity through leading edge retail planning solutions will ensure that the end customer; wherever they buy from – online, instore, a combination of both, has a relevant exceptional customer experience.
