We at AGR Dynamics were very pleased with the outcome of our annual Breakfast Conference, held at Grand Hótel Reykjavík on the morning of September 21st. With seven presenters, around 200 attendees and great breakfast food selection, the conference was our best yet.

Haukur Hannesson, Managing Director AGR Dynamics, kicked off the conference talking about our new planning module, new customers, and our dedication to put 20% of all our revenue into development in order to create even better solutions for our customers. Following him was the Managing Director of AGR Nordic, Kim Petersen, who took the conference guests through a thorough analysis of the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process, offering a lot of food for thought for the companies in the room, urging them to examine the processes that they are using and if they are giving their company the results they are looking for.

As the main focus of this conference was on our new Sales and Promotions Planner solution, Finnur Bragason, head of sales and marketing, took the stage to introduce our new planning tool and how templates can be used to customise the solution to fit our customer’s exact need. Einar Karl Þórhallsson, chief operations officer, took this idea one step further and showed how easy it is to implement specific templates for a wholesale company. Our chief technology office, Daði Árnason, then showed multiple sets of templates that can be put on top of the planner, using the example of how we at AGR Dynamics organize our team in resource planning and accounting for vacation days.

The last two presentations at the conference showcased the future of the AGR solution and where we are headed in development. Our brand new feature, financial planning, was then debuted for conference goers by Sigrún B. Gunnhildardóttir, demonstrating how we have managed to fit all of the information and processes around financial planning into a single platform. Agnes Jóhannsdóttir followed Sigrún, talking about Machine Learning and how we at AGR Dynamics have invested heavily in machine learning and are excited to use it to help our customers make a more educated decision within our planning tool.

The conference concluded at 10:10am, leaving our guests plenty of time to get back to work with stomachs filled with yummy breakfast foods and minds filled with ideas of machine learning and all aspects of planning. We are very grateful that so many of our customer took the time to come to our conference to meet with us and hear all that we have going on.
